Biography...
Born in Gobabis on 22 December and spending the rest of his young life in Otjiwarongo, a small town in the far north of Namibia, TIRO never dreamt of living his passion on the competitive playfield of the music industry.
Growing up as one of 6 siblings, singing came naturally for this young man and was part of daily life in the Moshosho household headed-up by his teacher parents, now both retired.
TIRO’s phenomenal talent in singing was however discovered by a music teacher, Evada van der Merwe. She heard him singing in the school choir and realized that this youngster has an extraordinary voice and a God-given talent.
She then resigned and brought him to South Africa where she is
helping him to establish his singing career.
During March 2005 she introduced him to one of South Africa’s tenors, Chris Coetzer, who was so impressed with TIRO’s voice that he invited him to join him on a tour to Sweden immediately. The tour; with 13 performances in Cathedrals across Sweden was a great success and the audiences loved TIRO’s voice and his bubbly personality.
With excellent language skills, TIRO has a large repertoire and sings Gospel, light Classic, Pop and Country Music. He performs in AFRIKAANS and ENGLISH as well as a few songs in Italian, Swedish and some African languages. His versatility and tenacity, combined with humility and spontaneity, makes TIRO a favourite wherever he performs from festivals and churches to corporate events. Apart from his talent, TIRO has impeccable manners and is well-loved by old and young, a true and natural role model amongst and for his peers.
